What this licence allows
- Construction of transportable buildings, including site levelling, stumps, verandahs/decks and organising plumbing/electrical connections.
- Does not authorise the physical performance of plumbing, gas fitting or electrical work unless separately registered under the Plumbers, Gas Fitters and Electricians Act 1995.
Qualifications
Pathway 1
- Complete an Australian-based trade apprenticeship (for example Carpentry & Joinery or Bricklaying).
- Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record with at least four years experience and five completed projects relevant to the scope.
Pathway 2
- Hold CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction, or a related higher-level qualification, without a trade qualification.
- Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record with at least five years experience and five completed projects relevant to the scope.
Pathway 3
- Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record with at least six years experience and five completed projects relevant to the scope.
Pathway 4
- Have held an equivalent registration within the 12 months before the application.
