What this licence allows
- Additions to Class 1 and 10 residential buildings: expansion below, at the same level and/or above an existing building and enclosure of additional areas.
- The condition may be limited in height depending on demonstrated experience.
Qualifications
Pathway 1
- Complete an Australian-based trade apprenticeship (for example Carpentry & Joinery or Bricklaying).
- Hold CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction, or a related higher-level qualification.
- CPCCBC5003 - Supervise the planning of on-site building and construction work
- CPCCBC5010 - Manage construction work
- CPCCBC6001 - Apply building codes and standards to the construction process for large building projects
- CPCCBC6014 - Apply structural principles to the construction of large, high-rise and complex buildings
- Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record with at least three years experience and five completed projects relevant to the scope.
Pathway 2
- Complete an Australian-based trade apprenticeship (for example Carpentry & Joinery or Bricklaying).
- Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record with at least four years experience and five completed projects relevant to the scope.
Pathway 3
- Hold CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction, or a related higher-level qualification, without a trade qualification.
- Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record with at least five years experience and five completed projects relevant to the scope.
Pathway 4
- Satisfactorily complete the Work History & Onsite Experience Record with at least six years experience and five completed projects relevant to the scope.
Pathway 5
- Have held an equivalent registration within the 12 months before the application.
