What this licence allows

  • Attaching tiles to internal or external building surfaces for functional or decorative purposes. The scope includes relevant cork, linoleum, rubber and thermoplastic tiles, mosaics, preparation of wet areas including waterproofing directly associated with tiling, minor surface repairs and movement/expansion joints required before tiling.

Qualifications

Complete one of the following accepted qualification pathways:

  • CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.
  • CPC31311 / CPC31308 / BCG31303 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling.
  • BCG30198 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling, TAFE course #8061.
  • Qualification 11768 Certificate III in Tiling (Wall and Floor), TAFE course #2157.
  • Certificate III in Tiling, Floor and Wall - Trade, TAFE course #5123.

Experience

No separate minimum experience period is prescribed.

Individual applicants must meet the National Police Check requirement and cannot be issued the licence or certificate while still an apprentice or trainee.
