Qualifications
Standard pathway:
Qualifications - standard pathway
- Hold, or have held within 12 months before application, a Journeyperson Gasfitter licence or interstate equivalent, provided the previous licence was not affected by the disqualifying disciplinary conditions.
- Within the previous 5 years, obtain CPCPGS4011 and CPCCBC4012B/CPCCBC4012 from Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services CPC40912.
- Demonstrate at least 1 year full-time relevant LP gas vapour-phase experience while licensed as a Journeyperson Gasfitter, under direct supervision of an LPG Gasfitter (vapour phase), LPG Gasfitter (liquid phase) or interstate equivalent.
- Alternative former-licence pathway: you may also qualify if you held the specified ACT licence within the previous 5 years and it was not cancelled, suspended or surrendered to avoid disciplinary or regulatory action.
